Giant char fishing the topic of Raincountry Flyfishers meeting

Join a group of local fishing enthusiasts — the Raincountry Flyfishers — for a presentation on giant char fishing at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13 in the Thunder Mountain High School library.

George Elgee will present a slideshow about monster char fishing on Victoria Island in Northern Canada. The presentation may also include shee fishing action on the Kobuk and Holitna rivers.

“Those who went to his slideshow on Bolivia will know that his presentation should not be missed,” Tony Soltys, Raincountry president, said.

As always, presentations at Raincountry Flyfisher meetings are free and open to the public. New attendees are encouraged and welcome.
