SAGA's Spring Equinox Jamboree kicks off Saturday

Juneauites young and old are invited to the 5th annual Spring Equinox Jamboree, hosted by SAGA, at their Eagle Valley Center from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 16.

This all-ages event is free and will include indoor and outdoor games, nature hikes, a barbecue lunch, cross country ski tour and tide-pooling adventure.

SAGA’s Eagle Valley Center is located a quarter mile north past mile marker 24 on Glacier Highway. Turn left onto Amalga Harbor Road and park in the Amalga Harbor parking lot. A shuttle with transport participants to the event.

Buckwheat Classic registration opens

Registration is now open for the 31st annual Buckwheat Ski Classic. The cross-country ski race will be held on March 25 on the Log Cabin Ski Trails north of Skagway and include 50K, 25K and 10K classic races as well as a 5K kids race.
