Spring King Salmon Derby standings

Percy Douglas turned in this38-pound king salmon on Thursday morning at Jerry's Meats & Seafoods, which moves him into first place for this year's Spring King Salmon Derby. There are still 21 days left in this year's derby. Follow the standings at springkingderby.org.

The Spring King Salmon Derby kicked off on May 1 and runs until May 31.


As of Thursday, May 9, Browne Willard is holding down first place with a 25.65-pound king salmon he turned in on Monday, May 6 at Jerry’s Meats and Seafood.

To date, this year’s top five participants in the annual derby include:

1. Percy Douglas, 38 lb, 9:02 a.m., May 9, Jerry’s.

2. Browne Willard III, 25.65 lb, 7:37 a.m., May 6, Jerry’s.

3. Robert Galau Jr., 23.95 lb, 11:10 a.m., May 6, Jerry’s.

4. Duane Grimm, 23.75 lb, 6:55 p.m., May 4, Jerry’s.

5. Nathaniel Sautao, 23.55 lb, 11:18 a.m., May 6, Jerry’s.
