Annual community Casting Night happening May 22

For the twentieth year in a row the public is invited to wet a line with the experts as part of the community Casting Night beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22 at Twin Lakes.

As in past years, this event brings together local fly fishing enthusiasts, businesses, experts and those curious about the sport for a night of free fun, instruction and food.

The event this year is hosted by the Raincountry Flyfishers, Alaska Flyfishing Goods and Trout Unlimited. The this free public event is perfect for anyone interested in learning to fly cast, or those who just want to see the newest tackle available.

Alaska Fly Fishing Goods will be providing all of the fly fishing equipment for the event. Food and nonalcoholic drinks will be available at the site.
