Hudson tops monthly JGC trap shoot event

Pete Hudson topped the September Registered PITA trap shooting event, organized by the Juneau Gun Club.

According to a release from the JGC, five members participated in this month’s shoot, with “many members and active registered trap shooters absent and searching for moose.”

The weather was quite fall-like the release stated, with no rain, moderate temperatures and light overcast to clear skies.

Event 1, 16-Yard
Singles (5 entries)

A class: Pete Hudson (99/100) winner.

B class: Mal Menzies (96/100), Jay Davis (90/100).

C class: Roy Lee (92/100) and Ryan Davis (87/100).

Event 2, Handicap
(4 entries)

Mid Yardage: Pete Hudson (86/100) winner, Mal Menzies (82/100).

Short Yardage: Ryan Davis (78/100), Roy Lee (74/100).

Doubles (4 entries)

A class: Jay Davis (90/100) winner.

B class: Pete Hudson (89/100).

C class: Mal Menzies (77/100), Roy Lee (70/100).

High Overall, Pete Hudson (274/300). Runner-Up, Mal Menzies, (255/100).
