Juneau Gun Club winter leagues forming

Now is the time for Juneau Gun Club members to form their winter league teams.

Each team should have between seven and 10 members – something the JGC can provide help with if needed.

Shooters of all skill levels can enter the league.

Winter league will begin Dec. 12. It will run for 12 weeks (10 weeks of shooting and two work weeks). Each week, participants shoot two rounds. Teams are divided by skill level, and the JGC uses a handicap system.

A good time for newcomers to get associated with the club is on public days: Wednesdays, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., or Sundays 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

For those that have questions or want tips on forming a team, Mona Yarnall will be at the club Sunday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. She can also answer questions at moyarnall@gmail.com or (907) 209-4286.

Participants must be JGC members.
