The public is invited to this year’s Juneau Raptor Center annual meeting and open house from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 22 in the Nugget Mall meeting room.
Light refreshments will be served and attendees will get a chance to win prizes, do activities and meet the nonprofit’s education birds — raptors that have been rehabilitated, but are no longer fit for the wild.
The agenda calls for the meeting to run from 11 a.m. to noon. The open house goes from noon to 2 p.m.
According to a notice on the group’s website, this event is an opportunity to learn more about the group and find out how to get involved. It is also an opportunity to become a member or renew a membership.
