Eaglecrest to host 'Porcupine Extravaganza'

To celebrate the new Porcupine Lodge at Eaglecrest Ski Area, the Porcupine Extravaganza will be held beginning at 11 a.m. on Sunday, April 13.

The celebration, which coincides with the last day of the season, will be packed with activities including obstacle courses on Muskeg and Dolly Varden and a Porcupine Scavenger Hunt with prizes including t-shirts and a 2014-2015 season pass, according to a release from the ski area. A ground breaking ceremony will also take place at the new Porcupine Lodge location at 1 p.m., complete with plastic shovels for children and special guests of the Eaglecrest community.
