In Caroline Jensen’s photo albums, this was called “Old Peterson Iris.”  It is quite possible that it has been growing at the Jensen-Olson Arboretum since the Petersons homesteaded the property in 1904.

Caroline shared these with her gardening friends; her generosity is still visible in yards around town.
