Traveling Outside

We Southeast Alaskans love Southeast Alaska, but we also love traveling to other (usually less rainy) parts of the world and hiking, biking, birding, scuba diving or _____ing in the great outdoors once we’re there.

Do you have a story about traveling and adventuring out- side of Alaska? Do you have a story to tell about hiking in Hawaii, biking in southeast Asia, birding in south Africa, kayaking in Antarctica, or generally doing something interesting outside and Outside? Send Juneau Empire Outdoors Editor Mary Catharine Martin an email at maryc.martin@juneauempire.com.
