ANCHORAGE — A longtime critic of Sarah Palin has been granted a protective order against a woman who threatened her over her public records requests from the former Alaska governor.
Andree McLeod of Anchorage received a six-month protective order against Clare Goodchild, also of Anchorage.
The Anchorage Daily News says Goodchild admitted making the threats and earlier this month apologized in court to McLeod.
Goodchild said she “meant no harm” when she said she had the cross hairs of her gun scope on McLeod’s head and when she said McLeod had “used up too much oxygen.”
Court Master Colleen Ray, who presided over the case, said she was troubled by Goodchild’s language.
