ANCHORAGE — Two Fairbanks men have been sentenced in federal court for using a stolen gasoline credit card.

Prosecutors say they used the card more than 400 times and spent $23,041.

Twenty-one-year-old Matthew Lalonde was sentenced to three months in prison and three years supervised release. He also was ordered to pay restitution of $19,614 plus interest.

U.S. District Judge Ralph R. Beistline sentenced 22-year-old Tyler Stephens to four years probation and ordered him to pay $3,426 in restitution.

Prosecutors say Stephens quit working for to Uresco Construction Materials, Inc., but kept a company gasoline card, used it for illegal purchases in 2009 and eventually gave it to Lalonde.
