Police: Anchorage home-invasion not random

Posted: March 3, 2011 - 1:30pm

ANCHORAGE — Anchorage police say a home-invasion shooting at a home in the Mountain View neighborhood was not random.

Investigators believe the home was targeted, but they’re not saying what the motive may have been.

KTUU reports police are looking for three men who broke in early Monday and shot 33-year-old Christopher Kendricks multiple times. He was in critical condition after surgery.

His girlfriend was hit in the face and suffered broken teeth. Two children were also in the home at the time.
