MOBILE, Ala. — Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is planning another trip to Alabama in May.
The president of the Exceptional Foundation, Bob Callahan Sr., says Palin will appear at a fundraiser May 3 at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear.
Callahan says the foundation is being established to help children and adults with special needs, and Palin, whose son Trig has Down syndrome, agreed to speak.
Palin has appeared at fundraising events in Birmingham and Montgomery since her 2008 vice presidential race, but this will be her first appearance in the Mobile area.
