Posted: September 4, 2011 - 12:09am

Sitka rallied from a 12-6 deficit to defeat Thunder Mountain 29-12 on Saturday in a Southeast Conference clash in Sitka.

The injury-plagued Falcons fell to 0-4 on the year with several key players playing out of position.

“We have a starting quarterback playing free safety,” coach Bill Byouer said over the phone. “That’s where we’re at now.”

More information was not available.

Thunder Mountain is hosting Ketchikan at 8 p.m. on Friday in a game where all gate proceeds will be donated to the fight against breast cancer.
