Falcons' spikers beat North Pole

Posted: September 7, 2012 - 12:15am

The Thunder Mountain High School Falcons volleyball team toppled the North Pole Patriots in Fairbanks on Thursday, winning the match 22-25, 25-14, 25-19, 12-25, and 15-11.

“The girls were scrappy,” TMHS coach Adriana Northcutt said. “Not much was hitting the ground without us getting a touch on it. We were real controlled in play and smart with the ball. We played with a lot of confidence.”

The Falcons play in the West Valley Tournament today and Saturday.
