The Juneau Freewheelers Mountain Bike Tour of Eaglecrest begins on Friday, September 14, with a Stage 1 time trial at 6:30 p.m. at the lower loop cross-country trail. Start will be at the bridge crossing the creek down by the Treadwell Ditch. Finish will be close to the shop road. The distance in the Open Division is two-miles, Sport Division is one-mile.
On Saturday, September 15, is the Stage 2 Hill Climb at 10:30 a.m. Location is the lodge to the top of the new road. Start will be around Tiger Hollow, finish for two-mile is at the top of Ptarmigan. The challenge of the uphill is burning quads, balance and hydration. Open Division is two-mile, Sport Division is one-mile.
Saturday’s (Sept. 15) Stage 3 is a Criterium at noon. Eaglecrest parking lot loop in upper and lower parking lot. Open is two-mile, Sport is one-mile. For information contact Race Director John McConnochie at jpm@gci.net or 723-1876.

Just a small detail, the race begins next Friday, Sept 14th, with the Stage One Time Trial. The start will be at the bridge crossing the 'creek', not the 'creed'. The 'creed' is, don't fall in the 'creek'.
