This week’s home action features the Dzantik’i Heeni and Floyd Dryden Middle School basketball teams playing in their second contests of the season tomorrow.
At 3:30 p.m., Thursday, the Floyd Dryden Eagles’ boys host the Dzantik’i Heeni Wolverines at Floyd Dryden. Also at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, the Dzantik’i Heeni girls host the Floyd Dryden girls at Dzantiki’ Heeni. Order of all games are C team, B team and finishing with the A team contests.

On Saturday, Cycle Alaska will offer another Free Clinic at 1 p.m. at Cycle Alaska. This week’s helpful topic is “adjusting your headset.” The event is free and open to the public. For a full listing of all upcoming clinics, go online to www.cycleak.com or call 780-2253.
Saturday is also Free Entrance Day, 8 a.m., at Glacier Bay National Park And Preserve, and Mendenhall Glacier Visitor Center. Fee waiver includes: entrance fees, commercial tour fees, and transportation entrance fees. Other fees such as reservation, camping, tours, concession and fees collected by third parties are not included unless stated otherwise.
Sunday features the Intro To Skate Class, 1-3 p.m., at the Marie Drake Gym. The public is invited to learn the basic quad-skating skills with our local roller derby team, the Juneau Rollergirls. The class will be held from 1-3 p.m. every Sunday at Marie Drake through Dec. 16. All you need is gear and a smile. Registration is $40 for the whole class.
