Nordics to hold first race of season

Public invited to compete
Nordic Devo Team members, coaches and volunteers pose at a practice in December. The team's first Nordic Ski Cup race is Sunday at 12:30 p.m. at the Eaglecrest A-Frame near the Lower Nordic Loop.

And the public does not have to just cheer, they can participate. All six cup series races hosted by the Nordic Devo skiers this season will be open to the community.

The Devos will meet at noon to warm up so other racers may want to catch an early glimpse of their competition.

Volunteers are also needed and they can be non-skiers. Those interested should contact Merry at 500-8112 or Jeannie at 463-3783.
