(As of Jan. 6)
Sealaska has moved up a notch, displacing Nizich Dental from second place and looking to take the top spot away from Imperial K&L in Women’s 1 division adult basketball, according to the latest standings.
Southeast Storm continues to be the dominant team in the Women’s 2 division while Lynden has displaced Chilkat Stitches from second place. Doak’s looks to be in need of an outside shooter or two as they wait to make a move from the cellar position.
Specs in the City and F/V Star of the Sea continue to make a battle of the top rung in the Men’s 1 division ladder, while Squadron is trying to push up to the third spot and JG Construction needs a draft pick or two.
Filco remains on top of Men’s 3 division but Tlingit & Haida took a leap over Sealaska Chilkat Warriors for second place and striking distance. Nizich Dental and Arcticorp are trying to not be the bottom link.
NAPA and SS Sounds are still in striking distance of Earthmovers in the Men’s Division 4, and a host of teams look to break out of the middle of the pack.
It is still a dog fight in the Masters Basketball Association, where all four teams can contend when this week’s scores are posted.
