Chip Cantrell (15), Doug Keller (20), Sheldon Winters (10), Kirk Blumenshine (13), Jim Calvin (21), Kevin Fagerstrom (32), Dave Ignell (22), Chris Monagle (30), Mike Kelly (23), Dan Baxter (25), Don Nowlin (24), John Richards (12), manager Rod Whitehead. The JDHS boys won the Region V southeast championship at Ketchikan. They then finished third at the state tournament in Juneau, opening with a 62-40 win over Lathrop, then lost to East Anchorage 56-52, and then defeated West Anchorage 62-59 in the third/fourth place game. East went on to win the state title over Monroe.
