Adult Basketball League Standings

Posted: January 31, 2013 - 12:16am

It has become a two-team battle in most of the divisions which means a lot of teams will have to play the role of spoiler in the end-of-season tournaments.

Sealaska has taken over the top spot in the Women’s 1 as Imperial-K&L could be tiring down the stretch. If Nizich Dental can go on a roll they may be able to get to 500 and over the top into first. The Southeast Storm is starting to distance themselves in Women’s 2 division play.

F-V Star of the Sea has pulled even at the top of the standings with Specs in the City in the Men’s 1 Division and Tlingit & Haida has caught Filco at the top of Men’s 3; Sealaska Chilkat Warriors remain in striking distance but the rest of the division had better rest for the playoffs.

The Earthmovers are starting to feel some pressure on their ACE bandages as NAPA has moved within two games and AML and Flounders within 5. Every team here has at least one solid win that states they could go from underdog to top canine as the season winds down.

The C.B. Green Team continues their run at the top of the Masters Basketball Association with the Juneau Older Timers playing 500 ball in second place.
