The Juneau adult basketball Masters League wrapped up season play last week.
Final standings were

Team Alliance 18-12
Juneau Older Timers 17-13
Reliable Transfer 8-22
Team Alliance won the head to head against C.B.
For the first half of the season (fall-winter) the teams split, 3 wins and 3 loses each. For the second half of the season, team Alliance won 3 out of 5 times playing C.B. Head to Head.
For the Masters tournament, Team Alliance will play Reliable Transfer Tuesday, at Glacier Valley El. School. Game time 7:15pm.
C.B. (Green team) will play the Juneau Older Timers at approximately 8:35 p.m.
Adult basketball tournament play:
In Men’s Division 1 tourney play Specs in the City (11-3) went undefeated through the season ending tournament, beating TBG/James Gang 92-81, Squadron 76-65 and after Squadron came back through the losers bracket, Specs won in the title clash 115-99.
In Men’s Division 3, Filco (11-3) won the title over Tlingit & Haida (10-4). Filco received an opening bye and then beat Sealaska (an 84-66 winner over Nizich) 68-60 and Tlingit/Haida 61-59.
Tlingit Haida received an opening bye and then beat IGeekz (a 69-64 winner over Arcticorp) 80-68. After their loss to Filcon, T&H beat Sealaska in the losers bracket 79-67 to earn the title game. T&H beat Filco 56-51, but since this was Filco’s first loss the two squared off again and Filco won 51-30.
In Men’s Division 4 Earthmovers (12-2) saw their top seeding through the season falter. After winning 83-71 over Cruzers (8-6) to start the tourney, Earthmovers fell to SS Sounds (9-5) and then to Alaska Fudge in the losers bracket 68-64.
Two seed NAPA (11-3) won the title with a bye, then beat Outlaws (7-7) 65-29, AML (8-6) 44-43, SS Sounds 50-49. SS Sounds beat AML 58-50 in the losers bracket to earn a rematch and beat NAPA 63-55. Since that was NAPA’s first loss the two played again for the title and NAPA won 63-55.
In Women’s Division 1, two-seed Nizich (7-7) beat Sealaska (6-8) 63-59 to open tourney play then beat Imperial (8-6) 60-56. Imperial then beat Sealaska in the losers bracket 51-46. In the semi-finals Imperial got revenge on Nizich with a 54-47 win, setting up another game as both teams had one loss. Imperial clinched the tourney title with a 63-43 win.
In Women’s Division 2, SE Storm 13-1) had a bye, then beat Chilkat Stitches (7-7, a 52-40 winner over Ak Glacier Seafoods -6-8) 60-33. Storm beat two-seed Lynden (8-6, a 75-58 winner over State Farm, 6-8). State Farm topped Doaks (2-12) in the losers bracket 46-30, then beat Lynden in a rematch 51-45, and topped SE Storm in the semifinals. Since it was one loss for each team they played for the title and SE Storm won 64-42.
