Floyd Dryden heavyweight Forrest Bizzario continues to wreck havoc on middle school grapplers in search of competition.

On Saturday Bizzario pinned Schoenbar Middle School’s Dallin Ward in the 265-pound title match of the 2013 Kurt Kuehl Southeast Alaska Middle School Wrestling Championships in Ketchikan.

Hosted by Schoenbar, thus having the home mat advantage, the Knights crowned four individual champions, as did Wrangell and Sitka’s Blatchley Middle School. Craig, Petersburg, Thorne Bay and Klawock had one title winner each.

Floyd Dryden Eagles’ 127-pound Benji Hendren also brought home a championship medal. Hendren won that weight championship with a 7-3 decision over Wrangell’s Sam Armstrong.

At 75-pounds, FD’s Jahrease Mays took second, losing in the title clash to Schoenbar’s Matthew Rodriguez 6-4.

Eagles taking third included: Shafer Suzuki (90-pounds) by decision over teammate Samuel Smith and Daniel Phillips (110-pounds) pinned Schoenbar’s Brent Taylor.

Fourth place Eagles’ finishes included: 80-pound Dominick McDonald-Cox losing by pin in the third-place bout against Wrangell’s Orion Heller; 85-pound Juan Fisher losing a 5-4 decision to Schoenbar’s Dawson Daniels; 133-pound Nate VanSickle losing 8-4 to Schoenbar’s Garrett Mulder; and 174-pound Evan Mauk losing 8-0 to Schoenbar’s Alec Simmons.

Following are tournament results as posted by the Ketchikan Daily News:

1) Schoenbar 266.5 points, 2) Wrangell 190, 3) Blatchley 175.5, 4) Petersburg 169.5, 5) Floyd Dryden, 146.5, 6) Craig 79, 7) Thorne Bay 79, 8) Klawock 26, 9) Hydaburg 9, 10) Metlakatla 0, 11) Pelican 0.
