Away, TBD, Region V tournament @ Ketchikan. Top two finishers go to state tournament in Anchorage.

First day of play:

Game 1, Noon, Thunder Mountain vs. Petersburg

Game 2, 3 p.m., Ketchikan vs. Sitka

Game 3, 6 p.m., Winner game 1 vs. Juneau-Douglas High School


Away, TBD, ASAA state soccer tournament @ Anchorage.

3:45 p.m., Juneau-Dougas boys vs. Colony

5:30 p.m., Thunder Mountain girls vs. Service.

Thursday May 23


Home, 6 p.m., Juneau Freewheelers Time Trial series. First race. Registration and the start of the event will be at the 12-mile mmarker on the Douglas HWY, the top of the hill at False Outer Point. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m.

Friday May 24


Away, TBD, Brian Young Invitational in Kodiak. Top two athletes, regardless of divisions, in each event at state tourney invited to compete. Divided into three regions: Region 5/6, 2/3, and 4 (all Anchorage Schools). TMHS’ Khalil English, Maddie Hall, Brendan Pietz, Jenna Luhrs and Naomi Welling competing for the Perimeter Team (5/6) along with Sitka’s Chatham Connor, Yakutat’s Kasia Adams, and Ketchikan’s Bernadette Franulovich, Shawna Nelson and Kelton Thompson.

Saturday, May 25


Home, 9-9:30 a.m., 23rd Annual Sea Coast Relay, legs of 3.5, 3.5, 3.7, 5.0 and 6.0 miles. One-Five person teams. Registration must be received by Wednesday May 22, contact Sherry Tamone 321-8559 or sltamone@uas.alaska.edu.
