The Crimson Bears swept host Petersburg over the weekend, defeating the Vikings 25-9, 25-21, 25-11 on Friday and 25-12, 25-8, 25-6 on Saturday. Maddie McKeown led on Friday with 11 kills, Kayla Balovich added nine kills and six serving aces. Balovich led with 10 kills on Saturday, Gracie Meiners had six aces and Cora Bontrager 11 digs. The JDHS JV won 25-11, 25-15, 25-21 on Friday and 25-19, 25-17, 20-25, 19-25, 15-9 on Saturday. JDHS will play at Ketchikan this weekend while Thunder Mountain High School volleyball will travel to Anchorage.
