An apology

Often my writing intentions exceed the results.

That was never more apparent than with my previous column entitled “Savior Or Satan.”

By no means did I intend it as an attack on the Juneau School District, the superintendent or the board members Sally Saddler, Sean O’Brien, school district employees, site council members or parents.

My intent was to show that this topic is so heated that a result will possibly never satisfy all. Unfortunately, I tried to use humor in a topic that is humorless.

I know better than most the hard work the Juneau School District undertakes daily, weekly and throughout the summer months.

I am open to any and all discussions with anyone who was offended by my work.
