Experience barely wins at citizens race

Experience won out over youth, but just barely, at the annual Citizens Race prior to the start of Saturday’s high school cross-country meet along the Treadwell Mines Trails.

Jim Ustasiewski, who lists his age as “still breathing,” managed to out maneuver eighth-grade runner Erin Wallace over the 5K course.
