Prep Shots: Falcons Top Warriors

The Thunder Mountain High School junior varsity boys defeated the Hydaburg varsity 83-75 on Sunday at TMHS and the Falcons girls C team defeated the Warriors 39-23. Haleigh DiCarlo led the girls with nine points, Allyson Strong added seven, Tatiana King five, Danelle Kasnick, MariRay Gonzalez, May Hayward and Makayla Harp four each, and Harriet Martin two. Andrea Cook scored 14 to lead the Warriors girls, Jada Guthrie added six, Asher Sanderson three, and Courtney King two.

Chase Saviers scored 31 points to lead the Falcons boys. A complete score sheet was not available by press time.

Falcons salvage Shootout win

After losing their first two games in the Dimond Prep Shootout by a combined eight points, the Thunder Mountain High School boys basketball team salvaged a win from the Anchorage tournament with a 52-41 Saturday win over North Pole. Read more
