TMHS softball girls top Service 10-5

The Thunder Mountain High School softball team defeated the Service Cougars on the road on Thursday, as Makayla Harp went 4-4 at the plate.

Harp tripled in the second inning and singled in the first, fourth and sixth innings.

Taylor Beardslee got the win on the mound, allowing five runs and striking out four, walking one and surrendering five hits.

The Falcons scored in the second inning as Heather Alducin singled to score Lonnie Echiverri and Harp tripled in Alducin.

The Falcons scored six runs in the top of the sixth. Harp singled to score Echiverri and Abby Mountcastle had a double that scored Alducin in the inning action.

Falcons salvage Shootout win

After losing their first two games in the Dimond Prep Shootout by a combined eight points, the Thunder Mountain High School boys basketball team salvaged a win from the Anchorage tournament with a 52-41 Saturday win over North Pole. Read more
