Former Thunder Mountain High School swimming standout Kenny Fox received All-American honors at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships in Shenandoah, Texas. Fox swims for Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Fox finished seventh in the 100 meter butterfly for the Big Red, which finished third overall in the meet.
Registration open for May triathlon
Registration is open for the seventh annual sprint triathlon hosted by the Capital City Chapter of the Alaska Peace Officers Association. The race is Saturday, May 6 at the Dimond Park Aquatic Center. It costs $50 to participate, which is donated to the Special Olympics. Awards for individual winners in three divisions will be handed out May 9 at the Juneau Police Department. The Alaska Peace Officers Association is comprised of law enforcement officers around the state for the purpose of promoting fellowship between agencies.
