Harborview Elementary School educators are organizing the sixth annual Zombie Run, a 5K or one-mile fun run, as a fundraiser for the school.
The event is Saturday, Oct. 28 at Sandy Beach. Registration opens at noon at the Sandy Beach log cabin. The one-mile race begins at 12:30 p.m., and the 5K at 1:15 p.m.
Register early to get your limited edition zombie headband. Pre-registration costs $10 for kids and $15 for adults. It ends Oct. 25. You can pre-register on active.com or at Pavitt Health and Fitness, Nugget Alaskan Outfitters, the Alaska Club or at Harborview Elementary School.
Registration the day of the race costs $15 for kids and $25 for adults. Call Harborview at 525-1850 with questions. Costumes are encouraged.
