Juneau-Douglas High School junior Bill Bosse is the Juneau Empire’s player of the week.

Bosse scored seven of his team’s eight total goals in the Mid-Alaska Conference hockey playoffs over the weekend. The junior forward scored five goals in a 6-4 win over Lathrop on Friday. Then, in the conference championships on Saturday, he scored both of his team’s goals in a 3-2 loss to West Valley.

Bosse and the rest of the Crimson Bears play in the First National Cup Division I state hockey championships this week in Wasilla.
