Elizabeth Miller, from Skyview High School in the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District, is the Alaska School Nurse of the Year. Miller has been a nurse for 35 years. She has worked as an office nurse, a hospital nurse and a home health nurse. However, Miller states her true calling is school nursing, which she discovered 26 years ago. She has been a National Certified School Nurse since 1990.
