Troopers ID man killed in Glenn Hwy. accident

ANCHORAGE — Alaska State Troopers have identified the man who was killed in a three-car pileup on the Glenn Highway near Sutton.

Troopers say 34-year-old Michael Jenkins of Sutton died in the accident, which closed the highway at Mile 65.5 for about an hour Wednesday afternoon. An autopsy will be performed.

Troopers say Jenkins’ vehicle was heading southwest toward Palmer when his vehicle crossed the center line and hit two vehicles traveling in the opposite direction Wednesday afternoon.

One of the other drivers received minor injuries.
