Bartlett Regional Hospital’s chief executive officer, Chris Harff, announced the resignation of Cathy Carter from her position as chief nursing officer Tuesday morning.
William C. Gardner has been named interim chief nursing officer.
Other minor departmental structural changes were announced due to this transition.
Harff expressed her appreciation for Carter’s service to Bartlett and wished her well in her future endeavors.
Carter and Gardner are both registered nurses. Harff has a background in nursing as well.
Bartlett Regional Hospital is an enterprise fund of the City and Borough of Juneau and provides health care and health promotion for the people of Juneau and communities of northern Southeast Alaska.
