Computer theft is JPD crime of the week

The Juneau Police Department Crime of the Week for Oct. 5 is in reference to a theft.


Sgt. Paul Hatch said in a release that on July 23, a person reported their computer and equipment had been stolen from Centennial Hall over the evening of July 21 and 22.

The victim had left the items unattended in a side room, the release states.

The computer is a silver MacBook Pro laptop. The charger and card reader were also reported stolen.

Anyone with information regarding this or any other crime is encouraged to log onto the Juneau Crime Line at and report the tip. Tipsters are guaranteed anonymity and can be rewarded.
