AMHS seeks public review of schedules

The Alaska Marine Highway System announced Wednesday morning that it has posted its proposed schedules for next fall, winter and spring online and is seeking “public review” for it.

Comments will be taken at a meeting in Ketchikan, at the AMHS Central Office off North Tongass Highway, on April 9. The meeting will be teleconferenced, with comments on the Southeast Alaska schedules being taken starting at 10 a.m. and comments on schedules for Southwest and Southcentral Alaska beginning 1:30 p.m.

Written comments are also being accepted until next Friday, April 5, via email at or by fax at 907-586-8365.
