Tour Coast Guard Cutter Boutwell July 4

The public is invited to tour the Coast Guard Cutter Boutwell July 4 at the Coast Guard Station Juneau pier.

Coast Guard crewmembers will be available to answer questions about the Boutwell and its recent operations in the Bering Sea and the Gulf of Alaska.

The cutter is one of eight remaining 378-foot Hamilton class high endurance cutters. It has a crew of approximately 160 and its homeport is in San Diego.

The tour is free to the public and open from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Children must be accompanied by an adult. For more information call 463-2065
