USFS names new manager for Land and Watershed Management program

Susan Alexander will serve as the new manager of the Land and Watershed Management program for the U.S. Forest Service. The program conducts research on ecosystems in Alaska, Washington and Oregon.

Alexander previously spent 15 years as a research scientist with the Forest Service, focusing on a wide array of topics related to forestry policy, markets and products.

Alexander will be based at the Juneau Forestry Sciences Laboratory.
