Police calls for Sunday, Aug. 18, 2013

Burglary

• At 3:46 a.m. Saturday, JPD continued an investigation into a reported burglary in the 100 block of Franklin Street.

Counterfeit

• At 3:58 p.m. Friday, JPD continued an investigation into the report of counterfeit money in the 200 block of Main Street.

Disorderly conduct

• At 12:33 p.m. Thursday, 49-year-old Michael C. Graham was arrested for disorderly conduct in the 100 block of Franklin Street. Alcohol was involved. Graham was taken to Lemon Creek Correction Center.

Domestic disturbance

• At 12:03 p.m. Thursday, the Juneau Police Department continued an investigation into a domestic disturbance in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Domestic violence

• At 11:19 a.m. Friday, JPD continued an investigation into a report of domestic violence assault in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive. It’s unknown if alcohol was involved.

DWI

• At 9:37 p.m. Thursday, 41-year-old Dawn Cherri Harris was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 3800 block of Mendenhall Loop Road. The vehicle she was driving was impounded and she was transported to Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

• At 12:59 a.m. Saturday, 28-year-old John Moynihan was arrested for driving while intoxicated in the 100 block of Franklin Street. The vehicle he was driving was impounded and he was taken to Lemon Creek Correctional Center. He was also charges with misconduct involving weapons in the fourth degree.

Fire and medical

• At 4:40 a.m. Thursday, Capital City Fire and Rescue was dispatched to transport a male patient and flight crew from Bartlett Regional Hospital to Juneau International Airport.

• At 6:02 a.m. Thursday, CCFR was dispatched to Shaune Drive for an unauthorized burn. Fire was extinguished.

• At 8:08 a.m. Thursday, CCFR was dispatched to Glacierwood Drive for a burn complaint. Resident was burning branches in a burn barrel and did have a burn permit. He was allowed to continue burning.

• At 12:12 p.m. Thursday, advanced life support care was given to a man on Jordan Avenue, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 2:44 p.m. Thursday, CCFR was dispatched to Airport Boulevard for a fire alarm. Upon arrival, met with a store manager and the alarm was found to be in trouble mode. Found water pouring onto the floor around the auxiliary dry system. Water supply was shut off, and advised store manager to call sprinkler company to reset system.

• At 3:26 p.m. Thursday, basic life support care was given to a man on Salmon Creek Lane, and he was taken to BRH.

• At 3:51 p.m. Thursday, CCFR was dispatched to Mendenhall Boulevard for a burn complaint. Resident burning tree branches in a burn barrel 12 feet away from the house. Advised to not add any more branches and take the rest to the dump.

• At 4:03 p.m. Thursday, basic life support care was given to a woman on Glacier Highway, and she was taken to BRH.

• At 4:16 p.m. Thursday, CCFR was dispatched to transport a male patient and flight crew from BRH to JIA.

• At 5:35 p.m. Thursday, CCFR responded to a vehicle accident on Glacier Highway. No injuries. Patients declined medical treatment and transport.

• At 6:39 p.m. Thursday, CCFR was dispatched to transport a male patient and flight crew from BRH to JIA.

• At 8:18 p.m. Thursday, CCFR was dispatched to Glacier Highway for an open burn complaint. Upon arrival, no campfire was found.

• At 9:37 p.m. Thursday, CCFR responded to a vehicle accident on Mendenhall Loop Road. No injuries. A woman declined transport.

Hit & run

• At 6:06 p.m. Friday, a 37-year-old female reported her vehicle was stuck while parked, causing $1100 in damage.

Larceny

• At 2:42 p.m. Thursday, 48-year-old Deann Martinez was cited and released for larceny in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 6 p.m. Friday, 42-year-old Joseph Yaletchko was cited and released for larceny in the 8100 block of Glacier Highway.

Lost property

• At 11:09 a.m. Friday, a blue Samsung cell phone valued at $160 was reported lost in the 1100 block of Calhoun Avenue.

Runaway

• At 1:36 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of a runaway 15-year-old male.

• At 2:06 a.m. Friday, an 11-year-old female, a 16-year-old female and a 16-year-old male were reported as runaways in the 9200 block of Hurlock Avenue.

Minor injury accident

• At 5:35 p.m. Thursday, JPD responded to a report of a traffic accident in the 700 block of Glacier Highway. Responding officers found the incident to be a minor injury accident with no pedestrian involvement. A 34-year-old female driver was cited for failing to maintain a safe distance. Alcohol was not involved.

Theft

• At 6:02 p.m. Thursday, a 36-year-old male reported the theft of $4000 in the 200 block of Front Street. An investigation is ongoing.

• At 7:19 p.m. Thursday, JPD continued an investigation into a report that a 15-year-old was shoplifting in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

• At 4:44 a.m. Friday, JPD continued an investigation into a report of theft from vehicles in the 9900 block of Stephen Richards Memorial Drive.

• At 12:40 p.m. Friday, a 51-year-old reported the theft of prescription medication in the 3200 block of Hospital Drive.

• At 8:24 p.m. Friday, a 29-year-old male reported money and clothing were forcibly stolen in the 9100 block of Mendenhall Mall Road. An investigation continues.

• At 9:58 p.m. Friday, a 31-year-old female reported the theft of her $600 bicycle in the 6500 block of Glacier Highway.

Vandalism

• At 10:23 a.m. Saturday, a 47-year-old male reported three tires were slashed on his 1996 Subaru in the 4400 block of Mountainside Drive. Damage is estimated at $500.
