SE Soil and Water Conservation District holds annual meeting today

The Southeast Soil and Water Conservation District will hold its monthly Board of Supervisors meeting Wednesday. On the agenda is the organization’s annual work plan for fiscal year 2014 and the district manager’s report.

The meeting will take place at the second floor conference room at the Sealaska Plaza in downtown Juneau from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

The Mission of the Southeast Soil and Water Conservation District is to improve local food production, gathering, and consumption through education, technology transfer and cooperative projects; protect terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems from the danger of invasive species; and foster conservation and local utilization of natural resources.
