Troopers investigate death of Palmer man

PALMER — Alaska State Troopers say they’re investigating the death of a 60-year-old Palmer man found on the site of a marijuana grow.

Troopers say the body of Theodore Konyot was found by a family member Monday night in his home.

An autopsy has been ordered.

Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters says by email that about 60 marijuana plants were on the property.

Troopers are investigating the death as “suspicious.”
