Troopers: Palmer man's death a homicide

PALMER — Alaska State Troopers say they’re investigating the death of a 60-year-old Palmer man as a homicide.

Troopers spokeswoman Megan Peters says by email that about 60 marijuana plants were on the property.

Troopers say the body of Theodore Konyot was found by a family member Monday night in his home.

An autopsy has been ordered.

Troopers are looking for anyone with information on the death or who saw suspicious activity in the area between last Saturday and Monday.
