Anchorage man gets 42 years for abusing minor

ANCHORAGE — An Anchorage man will serve 42 years in prison for sexually abusing a 7-year-old child.

The District Attorney’s office says in a release that 33-year-old Jared Kowalski was sentenced last week by Anchorage Superior Court Judge Larry Card.

A jury convicted Kowalski of four counts of sexual abuse of a minor after a two-week trial that ended in early August.
