Parnell puts on virtual town hall

Republican Gov. Sean Parnell is having a virtual town hall tonight at 6 p.m. for Alaskans to ask questions on key issues facing the Last Frontier.

The questions can be asked via email at AskAKGov@alaska.gov, by posting to Parnell’s Facebook page or by tweeting them to @AKGovParnell with the hashtag #AskAKGov.

“Utilizing Facebook and Twitter, our virtual town hall will give Alaskans a direct link to join me in a discussion on the key issues facing Alaska. Social media gives us a convenient and inexpensive way for me to hear what’s on the minds of Alaskans,” Parnell told the Empire in an email. “I encourage all Alaskans to submit their questions on our website, Facebook page or Twitter account.”
