What are we teaching Juneau children?

I like living in Juneau. I appreciate all the beauty and fresh air that abounds here. I have been living here only a short time, but it has renewed my sense of humanity, and I actually feel like a citizen.

Sound off on the important issues at

There are many issues that are very unique compared to any other place on Earth. Issues such as adding substances to our drinking water, building a road through a difficult area to a less difficult area. These issues definitely generate opinion, and individual opinion is valuable.

I would like to state my opinion that sleight of hand dealings with aboriginal people is wrong and usually has adverse effects toward the aggressor. Business is business, as usual, but what are we teaching the children in this community?
