Humanities Council seeks replacement poster hanger

JUNEAU - The Juneau Arts & Humanities Council is seeking a replacement for its poster hanger position. A part-time position requiring about 8 hours a week, the position pays $100 per week, plus one complimentary ticket to each event advertised that week, for up to five events a week.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Pick up posters from the JAHC on Monday evening or Tuesday morning to be hung no later than Wednesday evening; follow the JAHC poster route, hanging posters and flyers on all appropriate public bulletin boards; refresh bulletin boards, remove out-dated posters and flyers, and make sure all posters the JAHC is responsible for are visible and well displayed; and replenish the poster hanging supplies (push pins, tape, etc.) and keep the poster hanging "kit" ready.

Applicant should have a vehicle, drivers license and auto insurance; the ability to work independently and reliably; and good interpersonal skills and professional manner in interactions with business owners.
