Police and fire blotter

Juneau police, fire officials and state troopers reported:

Driving while intoxicated:

Donald Lepinsky, 43, was arrested about 1 a.m. Sunday on Glacier Highway near Brotherhood Bridge for drunken driving, refusing a breath test and fourth-degree weapons misconduct. He was taken to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center.

Assaults:

Brenton Keith Greinier, 18, was arrested about noon Saturday on Churchill Street for second-degree assault, a felony. He was taken to state prison. The victim, a 16-year-old girl, was treated at Bartlett Regional Hospital and released.

A man, 31, was arrested about 6 a.m. Sunday in the Mendenhall Valley for domestic violence assault and interfering with the report of domestic violence. He was taken to state prison.

Thefts:

A rental vehicle, a 1998 red Ford Taurus, was stolen from the parking lot at the Juneau Airport between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

A woman said her book bag was stolen from her vehicle New Year's Eve on Third Street downtown.

Vandalism and criminal mischief:

A police patrol car was reported vandalized at the Marine Parking Garage about 1 a.m. Sunday.

Three Julep Street residents reported Sunday morning that their vehicles had been smeared with food. Another resident said his house was splashed with a red liquid.
