Courts

Court records show the following legal actions among those taken recently in Juneau Superior and District courts.

Judgments:

• Cynthia Evenson, 36, was found guilty of drivng while intoxicated, stemming from an Aug. 3, 2008, incident in which no blood-alcohol content was availble. Magistrate John W. Magistrate John W. Sivertsen Jr. imposed 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Evenson $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked her license for 90 days and put her on probation for two years.

• Alden Balalong, 52, was found guilty of drivng while intoxicated, stemming from a Feb. 7, 2009, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .367 percent. Sivertsen imposed 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended, fined Balalong $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for 18 months.

• Nicholas Haws, 25, was found guilty of drivng under the influence, stemming from a Dec. 13, 2009, incident in which no blood-alcohol content was available. Sivertsen imposed 30 days in jail with 27 days suspended, fined Haws $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for two years.

• Frederick O. Olsen, 48, was found guilty of drivng while intoxicated, stemming from a Sept. 2, 2009, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .163 percent. Sivertsen imposed 90 days in jail with 83 days suspended, fined Olsen $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for two years.

• Sulamai M. Seve, 28, was found guilty of drivng while intoxicated, stemming from an Oct. 30, 2009, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .209 percent. Sivertsen imposed 46 days in jail with 40 days suspended, fined Seve $3,000 with $1,500 suspended, revoked his license for 90 days and put him on probation for two years.

• Michael D. Dixon, 25, was found guilty of drivng under the influence, stemming from a Nov. 7, 2009, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .171 percent. District Court Judge Keith B. Levy imposed 90 days in jail with 70 days suspended, fined Dixon $5,000 with $2,000 suspended, revoked his license for one year and put him on probation for two years.

• Anthony R. Hieber, 52, was found guilty of drivng under the influence, stemming from a Nov. 14, 2009, incident in which his blood-alcohol content was measured at .337 percent. Sivertsen imposed 365 days in jail with 280 days suspended, fined Hieber 4,000 with none suspended, revoked his license for three years and put him on probation for three years.
